Nestled among trees, this fantastic retreat is just a mile away from Bear Mountain Ski Resort, the Alpine Zoo, & popular Moonridge Corridor shops. Elks Peak is the perfect getaway for balancing adventure and relaxation!

Elks Peak is a charming 1300+ sq. ft. cabin in Moonridge with 2 levels, 3 bedrooms, 2 decks, & 2 full bathrooms. Big Bear local ordinance 99.300 limits maximum occupancy to 7 people & 3 parked cars for Elks Peak.

Elks Peak is the perfect getaway for family, friends, & even pets! This cozy cabin has 2 brick fireplaces, a private hot tub, & a pool table. The kitchen is fully stocked and all bedding & linens are provided by our professional cleaning crew. Amenities include free high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs with streaming services, & beautiful views of Bear Mountain ski resort.

For your convenience, Elks Peak is in the Moonridge neighborhood of Big Bear & perfectly located just minutes from tons of activities - hiking, golfing, skiing, biking, swimming, & more. This rustic retreat is 1.1 miles from Bear Mountain, 2.7 miles from Snow Summit, 1.3 miles from Alpine Zoo & Moonridge Corridor, and a quick 8-10 minute drive to Big Bear Village downtown shops & restaurants.

Elks Peak is a cozy cabin with modern amenities, natural landscaping, breathtaking mountain views, and rustic charm.

* Living Room: The upstairs living room has cozy sofas, a wood-burning brick fireplace, vaulted ceilings with pine beams, hardwood floor, a smart TV with streaming services, access to the upper deck, charming rustic decor, and gorgeous views of the ski resort. There is also a Celestron Astromaster telescope and board games available for guests.

* Kitchen: The fully-stocked & open-concept kitchen is located upstairs. It features stainless steel appliances, gas range, dishwasher, refrigerator, crockpot, Instant Pot, 4 slice toaster, blender, roasting & baking pans, BBQ tools, and a teapot. The cookware is Calphalon Premier Non-Stick Mineral Shield. The kitchen also has access to the upper deck dining area.

* Bedroom #1: This upstairs bedroom has 1 queen bed, dresser, carpet floor, ceiling fan, smart TV with streaming services, closet, space heater, & gorgeous view of mountains.

* Bathroom #1: The upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower and single sink vanity.

* Bedroom #2: This upstairs bedroom has 1 queen bed, dresser, carpet floor, ceiling fan, space heater, & closet.

* Upper Deck: The upper deck has an outdoor dining table, 2 Adirondack chairs, movable shade umbrella, and lovely views of the ski slope. It is the perfect location for mountain views of sunset and stargazing.

* Game Room: The downstairs game room has a sofa, smart TV with streaming services, wood burning brick fireplace, bar top seating, and pool table. The sofa folds out to a bed that can sleep 1 adult or 2 children.

* Bathroom #2: The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower and single sink vanity.

* Laundry Room: There is a washer and dryer available as well as a laundry utility sink near the downstairs game room.

* Bedroom #3: This downstairs bedroom has 1 bunk bed (2 twin beds), desk, dresser, carpet floor, and space heater.

* Lower Deck: The lower deck has a private hot tub, a Weber Genesis propane barbecue grill, guest seating, and majestic views of Bear Mountain.

* Driveway: Please note that this driveway is steep and high clearance vehicles are recommended. During the winter, guests must use tire chains in accordance with local laws.

* Back Yard: This area is steep. There is an area that is great for sledding but please do so at your own risk.

NEIGHBORHOOD INFO: Big Bear Lake is a 4 season vacation destination with activities for everyone! There are many different local tours including airplane, flight, helicopter, off-road, & Segway tours. Elks Peak cabin is centrally located near all Big Bear activities and a quick 8-10 minute drive to Big Bear Village downtown shops & restaurants.

LOCAL RECREATION: Biking, bowling, camping, four-wheeling, go-kart racing, gold mining, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, skiing, snowboarding, snow play, snowshoeing, stargazing, zip-lining, etc.
