With 2 spacious levels, 6 beautifully appointed bedrooms, and 4 full bathrooms, this grand cabin offers plenty of room for families and friends to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories. Whether you're gathering around the fireplace after a day on the slopes or enjoying a lively evening in one of the game rooms, Silver Fox Cabin delivers comfort, style, and entertainment at every turn. Inside, the home blends rustic mountain charm with upscale amenities. The open-concept upper level features a warm and inviting living room with a cozy gas fireplace and large TV that’s perfect for movie nights or quiet mornings with coffee. Just steps away, the fully stocked gourmet kitchen makes it easy to cook for a crowd, with stainless steel appliances, a gas range, and both Keurig and classic drip coffee makers to start your day right. The adjacent dining area and breakfast bar provide plenty of seating, while the wraparound deck invites guests to step outside and enjoy fresh mountain air while grilling or dining under the trees. Silver Fox Cabin is designed for fun as much as relaxation. The 2 dedicated game rooms provide entertainment for every age, featuring a pool table, foosball table, shuffleboard, comfortable seating areas, and multiple TVs with Roku. After a day of adventure, guests can retreat to one of the cabin’s spacious bedrooms including 2 luxurious primary suites with ensuite bathrooms offering comfortable beds, cozy seating, and quiet spaces to unwind. The kitchen is fully-stocked and all bedding & linens are provided by our professional cleaning crew. Guests have access to free high speed Wi-Fi, TVs with Roku, & countless upscale amenities. The outdoor space truly makes Silver Fox Cabin stand out. Set on a fully fenced half-acre property, the backyard feels like a private mountain playground. This grand retreat is 2.2 miles from Bear Mountain, 1.6 miles from Snow Summit, and a quick 6-8 minute drive to Big Bear Village downtown shops & restaurants. ========== ROOM DESCRIPTIONS * LIVING ROOM: The beautiful living room is located on the upper level and has a gas fireplace, an LG TV with Roku, a sofa, skylights, a ceiling fan, and additional seating for guests. * KITCHEN: The gourmet kitchen is located on the upper level. It has stainless steel appliances, cooking basics, a spice rack, a Keurig coffee maker, a classic drip style coffee maker, and access to the wraparound deck. Appliances include a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer with an ice maker, a toaster, an LG microwave, a Ninja blender, a food processor, a crock pot, barbecue tools, and a DCS by Fisher & Paykel gas range (oven and stove) with a griddle. The island has a prep sink and a breakfast bar with stool seats for guests. * DINING AREA: The open-concept dining area is located on the upper level and offers access to the wraparound deck. It has a rustic dining table with seating for 8 guests. * GAME ROOM #1: The upper level game room has a pool table, guest seating, a bar top table with stools, a ceiling fan, and a 60” LG TV with Roku. * GAME ROOM #2: The lower level game room with a sectional sofa, a 72” Samsung Smart TV, seating areas with 8 stools, a foosball table, a shuffleboard table, and access to the outdoor full basketball court. * LAUNDRY ROOM: This laundry room is located on the lower level near Game Room #2. It has a full size washer and a full size dryer for guest use. ========== BEDROOM DESCRIPTIONS This cabin has 6 bedrooms. It has 2 primary suites with ensuite bathrooms. The first primary suite is located on the upper level and the second primary suite is located on the lower level. * BEDROOM #1 (Primary Suite): This primary suite on the upper level has 1 king bed, a ceiling fan, a TV with Roku, a dresser, 2 chairs, and an ensuite bathroom (Bathroom #1). * BEDROOM #2: This bedroom on the upper level has 1 queen bed, a closet, built-in shelves, wood floor, and a ceiling fan. * BEDROOM #3 (Bunk Bed Room): This bedroom on the upper level has 1 queen bed, dresser, 1 bunk bed (1 twin bed over 1 queen bed), a closet, a ceiling fan, and an LG TV with Roku. * BEDROOM #4: This bedroom on the lower level has 1 full bed, wood floor, and a closet. * BEDROOM #5: This bedroom on the lower level has 2 queen beds and a closet. * BEDROOM #6 (Primary Suite): This primary suite on the lower level has 1 king bed, a loveseat with 2 recliners, a closet, a TV, a desk, and an ensuite bathroom (Bathroom #4). ========== BATHROOMS DESCRIPTIONS This cabin has 4 full bathrooms. * BATHROOM #1: This full bathroom on the upper level is connected to Bedroom #1. EXPECTATIONS FOR GUEST BEHAVIOR: Sound carries differently at higher elevation than it does on flat land at sea level, due to higher elevations and varying topography. Sound in the mountains can carry for miles. A normal private conversation on a deck can be heard from many houses away. Amplified music can be heard a mile or more away from the speaker. BE A GOOD NEIGHBOR: A big part of Big Bear Lake’s charm is the friendly and helpful residents. If you are fortunate enough to be staying at a home near a full-time resident and see them on their deck or in their yard, introduce yourself! Many of our residents enjoy meeting visitors and providing tips on activities and restaurants. VISIT LIKE A LOCAL: If you extend your visit beyond the weekend, you will see the large amounts of litter and trash left behind by visitors. Here are some tips to help you and your family preserve our natural playground for the next generation. LEAVE NO TRACE: Simply put, whatever you take into the forest, bring back out including broken sleds. DON'T LITTER: There are dumpsters located at all trail-heads and picnic areas. If a bin is full, find another. Animals will tear bags open and spread trash throughout the forest. KEEP OUR COMMUNITY PET-FRIENDLY: Please remember to keep your dog leashed and always bag your pet’s waste, placing it in a dumpster. Leaving your pet’s waste in a bag on the side of a trail is littering. KEEP THE PEACE: If you are going to listen to music while hiking or enjoying the lake, use headphones instead of a Bluetooth speaker. RESIDENTIAL FIRE PIT & BBQ: Open fire pit permits are not permissible at short term rental properties. Gas / propane, charcoal, and wood pellet barbecues are permissible with proper briquette disposal. DO NOT EXCEED THE STATED OCCUPANCY: Do not exceed the stated occupancy at any time during your stay, including temporary visitors. NO PARTIES ALLOWED. DO NOT EXCEED THE VEHICLE LIMIT: The maximum number of vehicles permitted to be at the property at any time, including temporary visitors, is on the exterior sign. NO PARKING IN STREET OR YARD: Parking is only permitted in the driveway, designated parking spaces, and garage. This includes trailers and recreational vehicles. NO MUSIC OR OTHER SOUND AMPLIFICATION 24/7: Amplified sound and music is not permitted to be heard beyond the property line 24/7. Sound amplification is permitted indoors, as long as the sound cannot be heard from neighboring properties. Close your windows and doors to avoid noise carrying beyond the property line. QUIET HOURS BETWEEN 10 PM TO 7 AM: Noisy indoor and outdoor activity, including use of the spa / pool, is strictly prohibited after 10 PM and before 7 AM. Remember to close your windows and doors to avoid noise carrying beyond the property line. RESPECTFUL PET MANAGEMENT: Be courteous to the neighbors. If your dog is prone to excessive barking, take them with you when you leave your rental. When in public, please make sure your dog is leashed and under control at all times. You will find that Big Bear Lake is very dog friendly! TAKE TRASH TO CLEAN BEAR SITES: All trash need to be taken to one of the city’s local trash sites (visitors will be asked to show proof eligibility, such as a rental contract), or trash must be placed in a Big Bear Disposal issued trash receptacle located on the property. Do not store trash outside. Clean bear site trash locations are 41970 Garstin Drive and 39690 Big Bear Boulevard. CONSEQUENCES: Unfortunately, a few of our guests refuse to extend common courtesy and neighborly behavior toward the guests and residents around them. For those guests who have come to party and disrupt the peace and tranquility of the neighborhoods, there are costly and severe consequences. CONSEQUENCES - FINES: The minimum fine for violating the rules stated previously is $500 per violation. The second offense is $1,000 and third is $1,500. CONSEQUENCES - EVICTION: Unruly guests who blatantly disregard the rules and expectations may be subject to eviction without a refund. In addition, costly citations may be issued to the undersigned. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL STARGAZER: Please conserve energy and reduce light pollution at night. Please turn off all exterior lights when not actively in use, such as when you are away from the rental, when sleeping, or when checking out. Take some time during the evening to turn out the lights and gaze upon the stars!"
