Pets may NOT be left outside alone at any time. There are many wild animals indigenous to the Big Bear area such as coyotes and bears. It is recommended that you be very vigilant when walking your dog. Coyotes are active both day and night in Big Bear and are very common. Coyotes often travel in packs and, although they rarely attack a dog on leash, it has happened. The best prevention is to stay vigilant, keep your dog nearby on a leash, and be aware of your surroundings. We are not responsible for any injuries to any of your pets caused by wild animals nor are we responsible for any pet allergies you may experience due to pets previously staying in home. As set forth above, please be aware that there are many other wild animals in Big Bear such as raccoons, lizards, and ground squirrels.
